Moving actively in downtown

You prefer to get to your destination by pedalling all the way? There is a whole bike network around Montreal downtown. You could come with your own bike and park it at one of our Rally stations or you could use bike-sharing with BIXI !

Confort above all !

If you prefer to get around in the car’s confort, there are several vehicles-for-hire services. With Taxi Bonjour, Taxi Diamond and Taxi Coop, there are several hundred taxis servicing the downtown core everyday!
Uber doesn’t need introduction anymore, also present on the territory, connecting users with drivers directly via its mobile app. Based on the same principle, Eva is a cooperative ride-sharing company.

But if you’re more a car-sharing person, you could use Communauto : the advantages of a car without the disadvantages.

When you come from far away

If you are visiting downtown or if you come from elsewhere, downtown is always accessible! By train or by plane, there is a path. By arriving from Montreal International Airport, you just have to take the 747 bus line which is offered 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you want to take the train or if you are arriving from a trip with VIA Rail, get off at Gare Centrale which is located in the heart of the business district!
