Here is a list of the different places where you can celebrate Christmas or New Year’s Eve with all your loved ones!

Every year, in downtown Montreal, several Christmas and New Year’s evenings are held in local hotels and restaurants. To find out where to celebrate the holiday season, here is a list of the different end-of-year parties!

1. Rosélys Restaurant

From Monday to Saturday, come enjoy teatime with family and friends at the luxurious Rosélys Restaurant. In addition to that, Rosélys invites you to celebrate the holidays with them, with many options to choose from, including Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas brunch, New Year’s Day brunch, or a sumptuous 7-course meal to ring in the New Year. Now that’s what we call celebrating in style!

2. Sofitel Montréal Golden Mile

On December 24th and 25th, come discover Restaurant Le Renoir’s gastronomic menu prepared exclusively for this occasion by Executive Chef Olivier Perret. This year’s Sofitel theme—Christmas Couture—will have you enjoying an authentic French experience. On December 31th, celebrate the New Year with a gastronomic menu and unique ambiance!

3. Ritz-Carlton Montréal

On December 25th and January 1st, enjoy one of the lavish holiday brunches in the magnificent Oval Room at Ritz-Carlton Montréal. And take the time to admire the Christmas village made entirely of chocolate.

4. Evangel Pentecostal Church

What better place to celebrate the New Year with family than at Evangel? On the agenda: music, lights, food and midnight countdown with balloon drop! The admission is free, you’re welcome to bring a dessert!

5. Le Balcon Cabaret Music-Hall

The best party of 2019 holiday season will be back at Le Balcon from November 28 to December 21 Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays!  World-class artists on stage will perform high-energy versions of the biggest Soul, Motown, Disco and Funk hits. You will also be able to enjoy a delicious table d’hôte inspired by the flavours of the world.

6. Downtown Montreal’s churches

On December 24th and 25th, many Christmas Eve services are held in churches and cathedrals in downtown Montreal. At the Mary Queen of the World Cathedral, New Year’s Day masses are also organized on December 31 and January 1.
