Although the official Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day falls on June 24th, the festivities will take place in the city center from June 23rd to 25th. Fireworks, shows, exhibits… join the party and come celebrate Quebec culture with friends and family for this 188th edition of the “Fête Nationale du Québec” in Montreal.

June 23: grand spectacle at la place des Festivals

The celebrations start on June 23 with a huge free concert at la place des Festivals. Back after 2 years of absence, more than 30 Quebec artists will join forces and “use the French language to unite, move and make Quebec vibrate as a whole”.

June 23-25: Défilé stationnaire in Quartier des spectacles

Still on the theme of celebrating the French language, le Défilé stationnaire parade offers an immersive journey mixing literature, music, poems and theatre. This enriching and fun activity is open to everyone and will take place from June 23rd to 25th on boulevard de Maisonneuve, between Sanguinet and Saint-Dominique streets.

June 23-24: neighbourhood celebrations all over Montreal

Neighbourhood parties will take place all over the city from June 24th to 25th. As real bons vivants, Quebecers will celebrate in the streets, alleys, parks and public spaces.
